Typically 40 to 70 years, depending on the profile, the coating and the care it gets. Shingles typically last 25 to 30. These are ranges, and your roof may land outside them.

The prices page shows example figures per square for each profile, with sample homes added up. Your own price comes in writing after we measure.

It costs more up front and lasts longer. If you plan to sell in a few years, the numbers can come out differently, and we'll say so.

A simple cabin takes a few days. Larger or steeper homes take a week or more. Panels are ordered to length, so there's a wait before the crew arrives, and we write the date down before you sign.

Sometimes, where code allows one layer. We check the attic and deck at the visit and tell you in writing what we recommend. Tear-off is its own line on the estimate.

It depends on your town or county. We tell you what yours asks for and pull the permit when one is required. The fee is at cost.

Yes, faster than from shingles. We plan snow guards over doors, decks and drives, and mark them on the spec sheet.

Thicker gauges and some profiles dent less. No panel is dent-proof.

Yes, including ones we didn't install. We don't repair shingle roofs.

There are three sets of papers: the panel maker's material warranty, the paint finish warranty and our workmanship terms. The warranty page explains each one.

The schedule is on your written estimate: what's due at signing, at delivery and at finish. We don't ask for the full price up front.

If you sign at home, you may have three business days to cancel. Your contract says how.
